Blue_Waters_Beach

There are 365 beaches in Antigua, one for every day of the year! As soon as you arrive, you will discover what a beautiful island Antigua is, with its shimmering blue oceans and soft sands. But with so much choice, the search for the perfect beach can become stressful and daunting if you don’t know where to look. Fortunately, we at Blue Waters know exactly which beaches are the best to visit! So sit back, put your feet up, and let us do all the hard work for you!

Soldiers Bay

What makes Blue Waters so unique and special is its location. Nestled on the tip of the Caribbean Sea and wrapped around Soldiers Bay, the hotel’s beach boasts an unparalleled privacy and intimacy – you’ll feel as though you’re staying on your own private island! The water is warm there and the breeze is cool, the perfect blend for anyone looking to relax at the beach.

If you’re eager to go diving, the professional and obliging diving instructors at Blue Waters will be more than happy to ferry you to the best coral reefs located nearby. A tropical underwater paradise awaits you, filled with a vast array of exotic marine life. Don’t worry if you’re not an expert at diving, you can take a beginner course before getting stuck in.

Pigeon Point Beach

Situated on the South East coast of Antigua, Pigeon Point Beach is a hit with both locals and tourists. If you’re into Snorkelling, then you won’t be disappointed by the beach, as its calm waters make it ideal for exploring the colourful coral surrounding it. When you’ve finished soaking up the sun, you can roam over to the beach’s local restaurant Bumpkins, which serve great Caribbean food and some International favourites too – like good, old fashioned burgers!

Runaway Beach

One of the most popular beaches on the island, Runaway Beach is home to various hotels, restaurants and bars. Although that has resulted in more people flocking to its silky sands and turquoise waters, it does mean there is more to do in the area. If you’re looking to mix relaxation with fun, then spending the day at Runaway Beach and exploring the local nightlife in the evening isn’t a bad idea!

Carlisle Bay

Located on the South coast of Antigua, Carlisle Bay is an expansive of clear waters and smooth sand; perfect for those of you who love to go snorkelling. Or, if you want to relax, all you need to do is lay your towel down and pull out a good book!

Half Moon Bay

Aptly named, the crescent-shaped Half Moon Bay is located on the South East coast of Antigua. What sets this apart from other beaches is its sand, which has a pink shimmer to it. Crushed seashells and pulverised coral have created this pastel sheen, making for a truly unforgettable sight. Half Moon Bay is a great beach for those of you who are into surfing!
