The Royal Seal of Approval

We have to admit it, we got entirely caught up in the Jubilee celebrations, for a while after we even kept our pinky finger up while sipping our afternoon tea. That’s why we were thrilled to be honoured with receiving the Queens Diamond Jubilee Award for our significant contribution to the island of Antigua during our fifty years in existence. There was positively uproar when the certificate along with two glamorous medals arrived and we promptly passed them round, trying them on for size and generally behaving as we’d just been knighted. We were even more humbled when we found out that Blue Waters was only one of two companies to receive such a notable award, as announced throughout the island by the Governor General’s office.

We would like to take this opportunity to extend an invite to her majesty herself, we love the thought of her relaxing on the beach and tucking into a delicious Crème Brulee at the Cove Restaurant.

However, we were equally as humbled and thankful to receive the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence 2012, as voted by you, our long-time returners, our romantic weekenders, our family holidayers and our one off visitors. We couldn’t have made Blue Waters what is today without your support, your feedback and your continued passion about our beautiful resort and we always look forward to reading your reviews.

So with all these festivities we feel a cheers is in order so we’re heading down to Veronica’s bar for a glass of bubbly under the sunset, see you there?
