Island Activities

If you want to get out and about to explore more of Antigua, then there’s plenty your children will love seeing and doing.

Here’s a few ideas that will keep the children happy and entertained for hours at a time:

Nelson’s Dockyard

Go back in time with a visit to the only remaining Georgian dockyard in the world, named after the famous English Admiral Horatio Nelson.  See the splendid yacht marina (home of the Antigua Sailing Week), a naval museum, nature trail to Fort Berkeley and a visitor centre. It’s an educational yet fun activity that all the family will love.

Catamaran Cruise

Let the kids play pirate for a day when you embark on a cruise around the island on a catamaran. It’s a great way to get a true feel for the area.  Have a chat to our tour desk staff who will help you find the right cruise for you whether you’re looking for the best beaches or a snorkelling site.

Join local Antiguan Eli Fuller on his sightseeing eco-tour. The children will love getting up close to nature and you too will find it fascinating.  He’ll take you to unique and seldom seen spots and together you will create memories of Antigua that will last a life time.
